Hello!

About 6IX
6IX Design Office have offices in Kuala Lumpur and Melbourne. 6IX seek unconventional design and architectural solutions by reflecting the changing needs of the market and harnessing the development of technology. This has opened tremendous opportunities and allowed us to explore design and architecture beyond the traditional act of building.

Embracing the Future
The future is changing faster than ever before. Even the most accurate predictions can be made redundant by a sudden advance in technology. To ensure we remain relevant, 6IX has developed strategies that not only anticipate the future but possible changes to that future as well. BIM has been central to this. We constantly try to find better and more efficient solutions to design, design processes and project implementation.

International Experience
Being heavily influenced during our formative years in Melbourne, working at a time when the industry was growing at a rampant pace, there was a large shift to BIM platforms. This large industry transition has shown us that alternative approaches could be applied to deliver unconventional results, particularly in the design processes. During those years, we have worked on complex projects that required high-level project implementation strategies and in some instances through remote solutions. Digital technology has allowed the transfer of knowledge and information to be quicker, easier and seamless. This is something 6IX continues to do today through international collaborations.

Collaboration
Collectively we have built relationships through our work. 6IX continue to work on local & international projects through innovative collaborations that aim to benefit all parties.  Most of our collaborators are progressive and like-minded, often with skillsets that complement ours. We see collaborations as ways that add value to projects by harnessing the collective experience gathered through the constant exchange of environments and professional relationships.
